Matthew Moniot, Chief Investment Officer. Matthew spent his career prior to Elanus as a credit and equity analyst, portfolio manager and trader covering the global financials sector. Most recently, he managed an international financials portfolio at Millennium Management and before that he managed proprietary global financials equity, credit, and structured credit investments at Lehman Brothers Inc. Prior to Lehman, Matthew worked as an analyst and portfolio manager at Omega Advisors. Matthew holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University and an MA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Jeff McConaghy, CFA, Portfolio Management. Jeff was most recently at Goldman Sachs' Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities division focused on specialty finance and distressed asset investments. Prior to that he worked as an analyst and trader at Continuum Fund, a quantitative credit hedge fund launched by Integrated Finance Ltd. Jeff holds a B.A.S. in Applied Mathematics and English Literature from Stanford University and is a CFA® Charterholder.

Adam Chaim, CFA, Credit Analyst. Adam has 13 years of experience as an analyst, most recently at Deutsche Bank. Prior to this, he worked at Autonomous Research, LP and at Deutsche Bank, he had positions as an analyst covering both the banking sector and high-yield. Adam began his post-graduate career as a high-yield credit analyst at ICON Capital Corp, making credit recommendations in numerous industries for the firm’s various portfolios. Adam holds a BS from SUNY Albany, and a MBA from Baruch College (BGS honors), and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Kanishka Malik, Investment Analyst. Kanishka most recently worked at Hutchin Hill Capital, where he was focused on market-neutral factor investing. Prior to that, Kanishka was an analyst at Antarctica Capital, a middle market private equity firm specializing in real assets and the insurance sector. Kanishka holds a BA in Statistics and Economics from Williams College.
